Wiser Ed Solutions, LLC partners with public and charter Schools to improve accountability measures by increasing educator effectiveness through related service provider training. We provide dynamic leadership in policy, advocacy, and related service provider professional development.

Our team will spearhead efforts to develop and advance the agenda, focusing on the increase of transparency, accountability, independent oversight and collaborative solutions.

We are skilled at reviewing best practices and have provided training in areas such as:

Our policy unit is comprised of a team of experts in special education law and policy development. Our team is dedicated to tracking and analyzing policies and legislation related to education, individuals with disabilities, human resources, related service providers though gathering data and developing data driven and qualitative solutions to policy needs and internal procedures related to your institutions mission.

 

About Kiesha Beard, SLPL JD

Ms. Beard holds a law degree and has professional experience as a speech therapist since 2005, in serving children from Pre-K through High School with academic, communication and behavioral concerns.

Ms. Beard has drafted proposals, pamphlets, presentations and provided related service training. Some of the topics Ms. Beard worked on includes: school vouchers, parental choice, Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), IDEA, FERPA, funding and budget proposals, internal audits, document review, policy development, bullying/cyber bullying, First Amendment and Due Process rights in schools, related service provider collaboration, new teacher/therapist tips and tricks, avoiding burn out, multi-teared support systems, learning pilots, foreign languages, civil rights, Title I schools, open meeting law, child abuse, teen dating, booster seat laws and child restraint systems, restraint and seclusion, appellate briefs and oral arguments, special needs trust and is a certified mediator.
